“Inside” or “Outside”?

Posted on: 18-10-2018

Learning about position words helps preschoolers develop spatial awareness of where an object exists in space and in relation to them. It boosts effective communication in any classroom. Over, under, inside, outside, left-right, between, above, below, … the list goes on and on. In order to help our preschoolers learn the fundamentals of early Math, KG3 learners were engaged in fun activities to get a good grasp on positional words. The first gross motor activity was the “Obstacle Course” where learners had to jump inside or outside the rings, spin around and run back to the starting point. Moreover, learners played “Toss the Ball” game where every child had the chance to record on a chart whether the ball landed inside or outside the basket.
